On 21st February 2022 HM government announced an intention to end legally imposed Covid rules alongside an end to free tests.
From Thursday 24th February
From 1st April
From the outset of the pandemic Nunthorpe Methodist Church has taken its responsibilities to protect church members and visitors extremely seriously – it continues to do so. In this regard the Church Council respectfully requests that you do not enter the church or ancillary rooms if you or any your household have Covid-
The Church Council would also take this opportunity to advise that anyone choosing to attend the church, for whatever purpose, exercise personal responsibility to minimize the risk of infection transmission. It is recommended that good ventilation is continued; hand sanitiser be available for use; face coverings continue to be worn in areas of high risk (e.g. close proximity) and that good general hygiene is maintained. We have now reached a point where what we do is at the discretion of each individual with regard to protecting themselves and others and the Church Council looks to your support in this regard.
Please help us to help you stay Covid safe and a sincere Thank You for your support and cooperation as we continue to navigate these challenging times.
