Introit STF 20 - Be still for the presence of the Lord.

Prayers – Please pray for those we know who are ill, in hospital, housebound, in care homes, all who mourn & all those fleeing violence of any kind. For Keith J, Audrey H, Cynthia W, Celia S, Ena B, Brian D. Especially for Paul & Keith at the loss of their dad, Winston.

Winston’s service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be on Friday 24th May at 2pm. Paul has asked those who are attending, please be colourful and don’t wear black.

Thank you – The W&M committee would like to thank everyone for their support & help at the Saturday 4th May coffee morning, which raised £428.01 for church funds. Its success wouldn’t be possible without you.

AGM - The annual general meeting will be held after this morning service; 12th May & is open to all. It will be followed by a faith lunch. You can stay just for the meeting or for the meeting & lunch which ever suits you but please if you can, stay for the meeting.

Good News – Pat Barrett has kindly shared her good news, Jack her grandson has got a position with the Balletto di Milano and will be joining them from June for a specific ballet for two months and then returning to them in September when hopefully they will have his work permit sorted out, well done Jack & good luck for your future.

Volunteers – Dave Elliott is asking for help in tidying up Charity’s garden, this will entail meeting at the manse on Friday 17th May at 9.30am for an hour or so. Please let Dave know if you can make it.

Readers Rota - We are grateful to the relatively small number of people who volunteer regularly to read Bible lessons during our services. At present they are asked to participate at random on a week-by-week basis. We feel it will be an improvement to have an established rota for each quarter so that everyone concerned will know in advance who will be readers for any particular Sunday. Additional readers are always welcome so if you feel able to help in this way, please contact myself or any other member of the stewards' team. Ron Mapplebeck

Inter-Church Coffee Morning - The coffee morning in aid of Teesside Hospice will be held at this Church on Saturday 18th May, 10am to 12 noon, please support if you can.

Songs of Praise - The Circuit Songs of Praise will be at Trinity on Sunday May 19th at 6pm. It will celebrate Pentecost and Aldersgate, the Wesley conversion.

Church Social – Friday 24th May - 7pm. Come join us for fun, fellowship, bring a friend. The night will be a Dice Night. Tickets from W&M Committee members, adults £6.00, child £3.00 includes supper. Not sure what a Dice Night is, come find out.

Offering:  Don't  ask”' what do I need to give? ” But “how do I give reflecting God’s love for me?”

Did you know we get no financial help from outside; all our income comes from what we do & from the support people like you give us, thank you for your support in God's continuing work in the Church.   As a sign of the offering of ourselves, please stand as the Stewards bring forward today’s offering.
